What do you think could improve the overall RAI Process so that it is less burdensome and effective in capturing resident status, reimbursement and survey indicators?

Here are a few examples that I feel could improve the process:

• Improve "jump" sequence of the form

• Eliminate regurgitation of facts that do not change by either auto-population of prior answer or only asking once. I.e.: Ethnicity and Race

• Eliminate the quarterly assessment. Not needed. If we had to do a SCSA due to a change in the resident which like the federal MDS process of the IPA it would adjust reimbursement and status of the resident. Quarterly assessments are useless and time lost in resources.
